About Ongarello Extended Family Tree
Please sign in to see more.
Hi! My name is Christina Ongarello, I am the third child of Arthur (Azzo) and Rosa Ongarello. My granfather was Gino Ongarello, and his father was Azzo Ongarello. On the Ongarello side, I have managed to put together a very sketchy family tree from bits and pieces I have gathered from various sources. I have also recently made contact with Sylvain Ongarello who resides in France and he has supplied me with his family tree. His great grandfather Filipo was the brother of my great great grandfather Giacomo!

Last year I was fortunate enough to travel to Italy to meet up with Pierantonio and Roberta Ton, who are the grandchildren of my great grandfather's (Azzo) brother Antonio. Pierantonio had some wonderful information on the Ongarello family and I spent a very memorable day at his home in Padua looking over family documents, after I was given a tour of Padua including organising a sighting of "The Blessed Bernado Ongarello" who was entombed at the D.O.M. Immaculate Church in 1279. It was a truly amazing experience.

I would like to also thank Maria Linders (Ravesi), Beaty Davis (Cincotta) Annette Sonego (Dimattina)and Vince Strangio for all the information and photos on the Strangio/Ravesi/Cincotta and Dimattina families! Their tribal pages are amazing.

I would also like to thank Susan Haigh (Santamaria) for all the information on the Santamaria Family.

If anyone has any photos or further information they would like me to add, please email me at tinaonga@optusnet.com.au and I will add the details that I may have missed or edit anything that is incorrect.

This is something I am really passionate about, I believe it is a wonderful gift to hand down to the next generation, so they never forget and can be proud of their heritage, any help would be greatly appreciated.

May I ask you to please sign the guest book, so I can acknowledge anyone who has been helping me build this! Thank you!

Love to all extended family
 Christina (Tina) xox

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
